Most people don't know it, but Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has been living with a type of leukemia called Ph+ CML for years. In a fairly unbranded docu-video series created for social media, we showcase a side of Kareem most people don't get to see as he talks about his life-long influences and goals. I concepted the topics for each video, did initial interviews with Kareem and wrote the story flow, and helped during the shoot to ensure that despite an unscripted approach, we kept legally compliant in our language.
